Playback believes that every event is unique and the songs that the band plays on the night reflect that. The band addresses your audience and changes their set to get as many guests on the dance floor as possible. Whilst Playback's 6-piece lineup is our most popular, it can be scaled up or down to suit your budget and event.

Can we choose the songs and band line-up?

Send your preferred musical styles, first-dance choice and any special requests. Ask which line-up is available for your date and whether the requested songs are in the repertoire. Additional musicians or newly learned material must be confirmed before booking.

How do we plan live sets and venue requirements?

Share the running order, stage or performance area, access, power and any sound restrictions. Agree set lengths, breaks and the finish time in advance. Confirm whether sound, lighting and music between sets are included in the selected package.

How do I check availability and pricing for Playback?

What to Expect

Check out what Playback has to offer, from a 6-piece band to their 5-piece, 4-piece, 3-piece, duo, and even solo options, that perfectly suit some more intimate gatherings. Playback will be also happy to give all sorts of advice on how to best plan all things live music and wedding related, to give you confidence and peace of mind. Playback can perform 2 x 60 minute sets or more depending on your budget and time frame.

Another cool option available for booking is the Sax & DJ service – two like-minded individuals on a mission to keep people ‘grooving hard and funkin’ deep. It is a stunning combination of live sounds and a packed dance floor.

A Great Band.

Playback band played for our wedding in September 2014 at Dunston Hall in Norwich and they were absolutely AMAZING. The dance floor was full and with a SUPERB collection of lively songs!! And some of our family & friends still talk about how well Caron & James put together the 8-piece band for us. It was so good, my brother hired them for his wedding in August 2016 at Hampton Manor in Solihull.

Playback entertained our wedding guests

8 years ago and we have recently used them again for my husbands surprise 40th birthday party. They will be playing again this year at my 40th and I can’t wait!!! They entertain from the moment they start playing and keep the dance floor full. They are super professional and passionate and a lot of fun. They take requests and even learnt a new track for my husbands 40th. I would highly recommend and just hope they are still doing what they do now when we are 50!!!

If you are looking for a hugely talented, highly professional, accommodating and reliable bunch of musicians then look no further – Playback are the guys for you; without a shadow of a doubt! We have booked them for 3 corporate events over the past few years and have never been disappointed. The feedback received each time from both staff and clients has been nothing other than 100% positive! The only negative………………………. they eventually have to go home!

A great Job!

I’ve used Playback 3 times so far. Once for a private gig (husbands 40th) and twice for a large ticketed dinner dance. Each time the band has been absolutely brilliant and I’ve been inundated with compliments and requests for their details! They are very professional – on time, set up without fuss and always match the set to the event. I can’t recommend them enough, and we will definitely be booking them for our next function.
