ABOUT- Barny Holmes

Barny Holmes – Norfolk Vocalist and Guitarist for Live Events Across East Anglia

Barny Holmes is a talented singer and guitarist based in Norfolk, known for his soulful voice and dynamic performances. He began his musical journey at just 14, when he picked up his first electric guitar. Inspired by a variety of genres, he quickly joined local bands around Norwich and East Anglia, performing at gigs and festivals.

By the age of 19, Barny had already supported major UK artists such as Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard. These opportunities gave him early exposure and helped shape his performance skills. Local venues, intimate events, and festival stages all played a part in refining his talent.

Barny's profile continued to grow through national TV appearances. He featured on Sing Date, reached The Voice UK live rounds with Jessie J, and appeared in X Factor Boot Camp 2012. These shows introduced him to wider audiences while showcasing his vocal strength and versatility.

In 2015, Barny released his debut solo EP. Its success led to a full-length album, filled with heartfelt lyrics and polished production. His music tells real stories—honest, emotional, and relatable to many listeners. Today, his songs remain favourites at Norfolk weddings, Suffolk parties, and acoustic gigs in Norwich.

Whether performing solo or with a live band, Barny Holmes delivers energy and authenticity. His performances suit a range of events, from romantic wedding ceremonies to lively festival sets. He is a popular choice for corporate functions in Norfolk, East Anglia celebrations, and private occasions across the UK.

With years of experience, a loyal local following, and a national profile, Barny continues to grow as a performer. His ability to engage any crowd makes him one of the most sought-after live musicians in the region.
