About - The Nigel King Band

Nigel King himself has been entertaining audiences for more than 25 years, while the other band members have all played in successful touring bands both nationally and internationally throughout their careers. Martin Bishop - Lead / Backing Vocals has been playing in bands for 30 years. John Dunn - Bass Guitar / Backing Vocals at least 40 years experience in bands & duo's John Tuttle - Saxophone / Backing Vocals a 40 year career in entertainment Tim Marriott - Drums / Percussion more than 30 years in the entertainment business

What to expect

A professional band with fantastic vocal harmonies who fill the dance floor for all ages with classics from The Searchers, The Kinks, Stereophonics, Lionel Richie, Barry White, Olly Murs, Earth Wind & Fire plus many others. On the day, the sound engineer with band will arrive well in advance, and be set up, sound-checked before your first guests arrive. Whilst not onstage we will keep the atmosphere going with a mix of popular music (please ask for details and any requests for the sort of music during the band breaks) We have our own lights and a great PA sound system, so we are self contained for any size venue. The band travels with their own professional industry trained sound engineer, to ensure that audiences receive the very best in both sound quality and sound levels. We have full public liability insurance and our equipment is regularly inspected for electrical safety (PAT tested). The band has many years in delivering fun, and professional performances. We guarantee you won't be disappointed!
