What to expect

Here’s what the band offer with each booking as a typical example. Don’t forget, this is just a guide and can be tailored to suit any specific needs. Professional P.A and lighting. Prompt arrival and setup. 2 x 60 minute sets of great party music! Background music before, in between, and after each set if required. Learn and perform your first dance. 24 Karat can also offer the following additional services: A sophisticated acoustic session for wedding breakfast, wedding ceremony, corporate dinner or drinks reception. An additional third set of 50 minutes. DJ set. Additional song requests – the band learn your favourite tunes if they’re not in the set! 24 Karat will arrive at your chosen venue and set up their equipment as quickly and carefully as possible. Once they are set up, the band will put on some background music through their PA system, this can be of your choice or you can leave it to the band to decide. After a quick soundcheck just to make everything is sounding perfect, the band will then take themselves away from the performance area until it is time for the first set. The first set usually lasts an hour and the band will aim to get your guests up and dancing right from the first song, and keep them there for the duration of the first set! Once the first set is over, the band will then play more background music over their sound system to fill the space between sets. Again, this can be your choice or you can leave this in the band's capable hands. After their break, 24 Karat will return for their second set of live music, which promises to be even livelier than the first! The band will again look to keep your guests dancing all night long, and will of course play a few encores if the crowd request it and the venue allows time for this. Once the second set is over and done, the band will again play more music over their sound system while they discretely pack up their own equipment.
